Prince Harry recently broke royal protocol by openly discussing his repressed feelings over the passing of his mother, Princess Diana. But according to sources published in Closer magazine, Harry’s brave public confession may have had a lot to do with his woman.
In midst of the pair’s serious and well-publicized courtship, Meghan Markle has reportedly worked hard to get Harry to open up.
The 32 year-old prince revealed just last week that he sought counseling after 2 years of emotional trauma, stemming from unresolved issues linked to the death of Diana which occurred when Harry was only 12 years old.
“Harry (feels) for Meghan partly because she’s so open (with feelings), and has that American attitude,” a royal insider told Closer. The report also claims that Meghan has helped the prince feel comfortable speaking to journalists and appearing on camera.
“Meghan encouraged Harry to see that, by speaking publicly about his difficult experience, he would really help others, and how being honest might even be a relief,” the source says.
“No other woman has helped Harry so much emotionally.”
