It’s been a year since Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Will and Eleven kept us on the edge of our seats. But now, the group of friends—minus Eleven, maybe—will have to face a new threat, which we will witness starting October 27 this year.
From its official Twitter and Facebook account, Netflix announce last Tuesday that this will be the date on which its original series, and last summer’s phenomenon, will premiere its second season on the streaming platform.
The official announcement came with a new promotional poster in which we see the four children riding their bikes, starring in the sky to the new monster they may have to fight.
Stranger Things 2 will have nine chapter, one more than the previous season, of approximately 45 minutes each; a total of nearly seven hours of sci-fi for the series lovers.
Although we don’t know much about this second installment, we do know that the story will be set in 1984, a year after the events that took part on the first season: the fight against the Demogorgon, the return of Will Byers, and the supposed disappearance of Eleven.
The new season will also have new additions to the cast, like Sean Austin, Paul Reiser, Linnea Berthelsen, and Drace Montgomery.
It seems that neither the people of Hawkins nor we will have time to recover before strange events from another dimension happen again.
