Order is restored to millennials’ universe!
Joy to the world! The feud is officially over. Drake and Josh both posted the same picture of their reunion on Sunday night. The beloved television stepbrothers hugged it out at the MTV Video Music Awards. “Hug me,” Josh captioned the picture of them embracing each other.
“Reunited and it feels so good!!” Drake wrote on his Instagram post. The reunion comes two months after Bell got upset about being left off the guest list to Peck’s wedding to Paige O’Brien in June.
“When you’re not invited to the wedding the message is clear,” Drake tweeted.“True colors have come out today. Message is loud and clear. Ties are officially cut. I’ll miss ya brotha.” “Loyalty is key” he continued. “ALWAYS remember where you come from.”
After Drake’s rant on Twitter and an infamous John Stamos’ picture at Josh’s wedding (c’mon Josh, Stamos and not Bell? Really?), the internet erupted with takes on the dilemma. Drake said he was shocked on how much attention his tweets received.
“I couldn’t believe it! I mean, what a slow news day! I was like, ‘Trump, can’t you tweet something?! Please! Like, just do something to get the attention off of this!” the Found a Way singer joked in an interview.
Bell also explained that while he had talked to his friend of 18 years about the engagement, he was hurt he only saw photos of the wedding on social media.
“It was just one of those things where it was just, like, ‘You didn’t even tell? I had to find out on social media” he added. “And then you’re, like, ‘You know what!? Fine!’ and then I’m, like, wait, I probably shouldn’t have done that.”
But that’s water under the bridge now! The former Nickelodeon alumns didn’t give any context as to what led to their lovely reunion. But that’s ok. We don’t need an explanation. All we need is this picture. We can finally go on with our lives.
