Jennifer Lopez Is The Face Of The New Spring 2018 Guess Jeans Campaign

Jennifer Lopez is widely known for her dancing, singing and acting. And now, JLo will also go down in fashion history—and not necessarily because of her iconic green Versace dress.

At 48 years old, Lopez if officially the oldest Guess Girl in the history of the brand, as she landed the campaign of the 2018 spring collection.

“When I got the call from Paul Marciano, asking me to become the new Guess Girl, I was thrilled and excited to be a part of such an iconic brand that I have loved since I was a teenager,” Lopez said about her campaign. “When I look back at early Guess campaigns through the years, you see all of these beautiful models and iconic images that Paul has created. It is a tremendous compliment to have been selected for Guess’ spring 2018 campaign.”

The first image of the retro-inspired campaign was released yesterday. The black and white photograph, shot by Tatiana Gerusova and art directed by co-founder Paul Marciano himself, features a stunning Jennifer Lopez in button a button-down and high-waisted shorts combo, boasting her incredibly toned legs that, quite frankly, look better than those of a model half her age— (sorry, Kendall!)

“Jennifer Lopez is a Guess Girl’s dream! She’s an accomplished artist, she is iconic and sensual,” Marciano said in a statement about the spring 2018 campaign. “Jennifer’s impact and influence continues to grow and this campaign celebrates the notion that women get more beautiful and talented as they gain life experience.”

And so, the once Jenny from the bloc now joins the exclusive Guess Girls club, which includes A-list models like Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell, Anna Nicole Smith, Gigi Hadid, Adriana Lima, y Priyanka Chopra.
