Lady Gaga Confirms Two-Years Las Vegas Residency

There’s a new temptation in Sin City!

On Tuesday afternoon, Lady Gaga revealed that she’s set to lead her own Las Vegas residency for the next two years at the MGM Park Theater, scheduled to start in December…2018.

“The rumors are true!” Gaga confirmed. “It’s been my lifelong dream to be a Las Vegas girl, I’m so overjoyed!” she wrote on Twitter along pictures of the moment she signed her deal with MGM over the weekend.

In a statement, the 31-year-old Grammy winner promised: “I’ll tell you exactly what I told my MGM and Park Theater partners –  you can count on this performer always for one thing…I’ll leave my heart on the stage every single night.”

According to Variety, the initial run will include 74 dates, with the possibility of more. The deal has a potential value of almost $100 million, of which $75 million would go to Gaga’s pocket by the end of the two years—meaning a little over $1 million per show.

Lady Gaga spent most of her 2017 on tour, promoting her latest album Joanne, for which she’s nominated for two 2018 Grammy Awards, in the categories of Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Solo Performance.

As for the details on dates and tickets to Lady Gaga’s still unnamed show, they will be announced in the following months, according to the press release. So, little monsters, stay tuned for more information!
