Justin Timberlake returns to the big stage! On Monday morning, the singer announced his musical tour comeback via his official site and social media accounts.
“The outdoors is the inspiration for a lot of these songs. That’s the main idea. The tour will be able to bring the outside in,” Justin says in the tour’s trailer. “I want people to see the inspiration for how it ended up sounding. I’ve never seen that done before: Bring the in. ”
J.T. has clearly been gearing up for the tour for a while. The promotional video shows the singer rehearsing choreographies, practicing his songs, and prepping his voice for the upcoming show, which mark his return to the stage following the smash The 20/20 Experience Tour, which took him around the globe in 2013 and 2014.
The promotional outing for his fifth studio album, Man of the Woods, will begin in Toronto on March 13 and continue throughout 27 other cities in North America, including New York, Chicago, Boston, Las Vegas, Nashville and Miami, with Tennessee, the singer’s hometown, scheduled to be the last location of the tour.
Man of the Woods is set to debut on February 2, just a couple of days before Justin Timberlake once again takes the stage of the Super Bowl’s half-time show in Minneapolis. The tour launches just five weeks after the long-awaited performance.
