It’s not official until it’s Instagram official! Shailene Woodley has finally confirmed her romance with Ben Volavola.
After months of speculation, the Big Little Lies star has finally taken her no-longer-so-secret romance with Australian rugby player to social media, with a series of romantic pictures of the couple enjoying the Valentino show at the Paris Couture Week.
Between snaps of the dresses, Woodley, 25, couldn’t help but gush over her new beau. “This date tho…” she captioned a picture she posted to her Instagram Stories, posing in an animal print dess next to Volavola, 27.
And just in case things weren’t clear enough, minutes later Shailene took to Instagram again to share a picture of the pair kissing on the lips before wrapping up their romantic night in Paris.
And although this is the first time that Woodley openly addresses her relationship with Ben, in fact, it was Volavola who first brought up his romance with the actress—or at least hints of it—in social media.
A month ago, Ben expressed his love for Shailene in a rare Twitter post. While snapping a picture of the actress in what seemed to be a romantic date, Ben simply wrote “#Blessed,” with the heart emoji.
According to reports, the couple met last year in Fiji, where Shailene was filming Adrift. Back in October, romance rumors first sparked between the two after pictures surfaced of the actress kissing the rugby union player.
From then on, Shailene shared numerous cryptic photos of her mysterious relationship, holding hands and having outdoor picnics, making it clear that she is happier than even and very much in love, but never revealing her new lover’s identity—until now, that is!
