January Jones isn’t giving up her single status any time soon!
Last month, the actress was romantically linked to former Bachelor contestant Nick Viall after they met on the se of The Late Late Show with James Corden last year. But the Mad Man star insist that the ongoing rumors about an alleged romance with Viall are just that—rumors.
“He’s a friend of mine. He’s super sweet,” she said speaking to Entertainment Tonight. “No, I’m single. But, he’s a friend of mine and tells me lots of inside scoops.”
Last month, a source close to the so-called couple said Jones, 40, and Viall, 37, had been dating for at least a couple of months. “They’ve been dating for about two months. She went on The Late Show in mid-November and said Nick had reached out to her and tried to get her to lip-sync battle with him. She declined, but then he asked her out to a drink and she accepted. They’ve been seeing each other since.”
And though she has now silenced the rumors on their romance—or at least that’s what she thinks—it was Jones herself who confirmed part of the story of how se met the coveted bachelor.
“He asked me to battle him on Lip Sync Battle,” the actress revealed during a visit with James Corden. “Is that his way of asking me out or does he have a problem with me?” she said, reacting to the unusual request. “You don’t know if you like him or if he’s a scumbag and I think that’s why I’m attracted to him, maybe?”
