Late Actor Paul Walker To Be Immortalized In New Documentary Titled “I Am Paul Waker”

It’s been almost five years since actor Paul Walker tragically passed in November 2013. And now, The Fast and The Furious star will be immortalized in a new documentary titled “I Am Paul Walker.”

Paramount Network and Network Entertainment are partnering to create a never-before-seen comprehensive look at life, death, and legacy of the actor. The team behind I Am Heath Ledger—which told the story of the late Heath Ledger—will write and produce the upcoming film.

According to People, the documentary will feature exclusive interviews with Walker’s co-stars, friends, and other people who were close to him. In addition to exploring his successful career in the entertainment world, the film will also address, among other topics, the actor’s passion for the world of ocean and marine, life, as well as his involvement in philanthropic activities like helping rebuild Haiti after the earthquake in 2010.

Paul Walker died in a devastating car accident at age 40. He was a passenger in a friend’s Porsche while attending a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide when the fatal crash occurred. The actor was in the middle of filming Furious 7 when he died—leaving behind a then 14-year-old daughter, Meadow Rain.

Additional details including the cast list and air date of I Am Paul Walker will be announced in the coming months.
