Wedding Bells Are Definitely Not Ringing For Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez… At Least For Now!

Even after 3 divorces, Jennifer Lopez still to believe in marriage—but that doesn’t mean she’ll be walking down the aisle anytime soon.

The 48-year-old singer and actress, who just celebrated her first-year anniversary with boyfriend Alex Rodriguez, opened up about her wedding plans (or rather the lack of any) in a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar. And while Lopez insisted that she isn’t in any hurry to tie the knot, she did admit that she wishes to have someone to spend the rest of his life with.

“I do believe in marriage,” the singer said. “And I would love to grow old with somebody in a committed relationship. But I’m not forcing anything right now.”

And though wedding may not be in the cards for this power couple—at least for now— things couldn’t be better for A-Rod and JLo. “It’s good, it’s healthy; we communicate well. We understand each other’s lives in a way that most other people couldn’t,” Jenny said of their relationship.

However, she also admitted that it took her a long time to find that happiness. “When I was younger I spent a lot of time being half happy and half not happy,” she explained. “I know who I am and what I want. I also know my strengths and weaknesses. It took me a long time to get to a point where I could say something nice about myself. I’m glad I can do that now.”

In terms of strengths, J.Lo listed: “Great performer, great actress, great producer. Most importantly, a great mother, great sister, and a great girlfriend,” she added. “I’ve also been a great wife.”
