Seems like Hannah Abbott wasn’t the right girl for Neville after all…
Matthew Lewis, who shot to fame as chubby, good-hearted Gryffindor wizard Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter franchise, blew our poor Potterheads on Monday, when he very casually revealed he had married his American girlfriend Angela Jones.
“Not only did I miss @ArticMonkeys in L.A. but they were performing in Italy at the same time we were there and my wife made me get married instead. Fuming,” Lewis tweeted along with a snapshot of their big day.
Matthew, 28, and his now-wife Angela, announced they had gotten engaged in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris back in December 2016, just four months after she divorced from her previous husband.
Luckily for Lewis, the couple met at a Wizarding World fan event in June 2016, when he had already stunned the world with his transformation from geek to chic. Otherwise, he would’ve had to whip up a love potion to get himself a beautiful girl like Jones—or pose shirtless for Attitude magazine for that matter!
