Apple continues to ramp up its original content efforts with an upcoming futuristic show called See, which will star someone you’re most likely familiar with: Jason Momoa, a.k.a. Khal Drogo, a.k.a. Aquaman, a.k.a. the man of our and Lisa Bonet’s dreams.
The sci-fi series is said to be a “world building drama” set in a future were humans have lost the sense of sight. Momoa will play Baba Voss, “a fearless warrior, leader, and guardian” who will guide his people after their way of life is thrown into chaos when a set of twins who have the sense of sight are born.
See will be produced by Peaky Blinders’ Steve Knight and Hunger Games vet Francis Lawrence, who will also serve as director of the series.
Though we still don’t have not even a possible release date for the show nor details on who could join the 38-year-old actor in the cast, we do know See has snagged a 10-episode deal and that it will most likely be a binge-watch-worthy addition to our viewing schedule—just like Frontier, Game of Thrones, and anything else where Momoa stars in.
Wait a minute—we’re starting to understand why they casted Jason…
