Habemus murderer/cult leader!
Though it’s been stated that the two leading characters in Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming film are Rick Dalton (a.k.a. Leonardo DiCaprio), former star of a western TV show, and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (a.k.a. Brad Pitt), there’s been plenty of speculation about the casting of the infamous Charles Manson.
And now, the Pulp Fiction director continues to fill out his star-studded cast with a far less recognizable name. Tarantino has gone with Breaking Bad and Justified supporting actor Damon Herriman as the darkly charismatic killer.
Herriman certainly has a look of Manson about him and a general creepy air—which has gained him some very specific roles—, though his casting confirms the killer most likely won’t play as large role in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood as many might had anticipated.
The film, set in Los Angeles in 1969, also includes Al Pacino, Dakota Fanning, Kurt Russell, Margot Robbie, Damian Lewis, Rumer Willis, Tim Roth, and Lena Dunham among many, many, MANY others.
With one of the greatest casts of all time, it’ll be an understatement to say that we’re pretty excited to see how Once Upon A Time In Hollywood turns out. Guess we’ll have to wait until its July 26, 2019 release—or at least for a trailer to spill everything out for us!
