You can’t expect us to see a picture featuring RiRi and Childish Gambino just casually posing together and not have the internet totally freak out.
Days after announcing Donald Glover as one of the performers at Rihanna’s annual Diamond Ball in September, a picture of the pair hanging out in Cuba has surfaced online, and fans are dying to know what could’ve possibly brought them together in the Caribbean.
In the picture that went viral Wednesday night, the original Bad Gal is seen wearing a multi-colored rainbow striped dress with her hair in braids and playfully putting bunny ears behind Donald’s head, whom kept a more serious expression and even went shirtless in the snap.
Though there’s no official reports on why the Ocean’s 8 star and the This Is America singer are together, fans have some theories on what the twosome is up to.
Many seem to think Rihanna and Glover, both being musical artist, are working on a song collaboration and filming an accompanying music video. Which would make total sense given that Rihanna has an album coming out soon. Perhaps her comeback single could be a collab with Donald’s music alter-ego, Childish Gambino? Maybe they’ll debut their possible new song together next month at the Dinamond Ball?
However, several reports have centered around the pair filming a movie together. More specifically, Cuban magazine Vistar reports they are working on a film titled Guava Island, and that Black Panther’s Letitia Wright and Game of Thrones’ Nonso Anozie are also part of the film.
Regardless, with Rihanna and Donald work work work work working in whatever this project is, we can expect the it to be mind-blowing.
