Drake Postponed His Miami Shows Due To Serious Illness

Drake postponed his Miami shows after falling ill.

Drake’s Aubrey & The Three Migos tour with Migos has been plagued with postponements and cancellations, either due to technical difficulties or “circumstances beyond [their] control.” But now, the Scorpion rapper is taking full responsibility over tour’s latest setback, revealing it was serious and sudden illness what forced him to postponed his Miami gigs over the weekend.

“I just wanted to say how sorry I am about these two Miami shows,” Drake apologized to his fans via Instagram. “I got so ill so fast and I had never experienced anything like that in my life. Unlike other show cancellations or date adjustments due to production issues this one fell on me and I just want to apologize because I hate letting down anyone who come to share these moments with us.”

The Canadian hitmaker even suggested he was hospitalized for treatment continuing, “Thank you to the two doctors and nurse that helped me with round the clock care. Miami deserves 100 percent and I promise that experience when we return.”

This isn’t the first time that a show has been postponed during this run. The Aubrey & The Three Migos Tour was originally scheduled to begin in July but was delayed until August. The tour was postponed once again when the opening date in Kansas City was pushed back by two days. A number of the early shows were rescheduled, while one in Chicago was canceled altogether.

However, it appears the In My Feelings singer is now well enough and ready to return to the stage for their next scheduled concert in New Orleans, as he concluded his apology writing “Thank you god for allowing me to recover and continue. On we go!”

While some fans might be upset Drake postponed his Miami shows, others will say it was all God’s Plan… Trying keep a peaceful tour really seems like a struggled for Drizzy!
