They may seem like the picture-perfect couple, but Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s biggest fight ever proves they are no different than any regular couple, making them Hollywood’s most relatable couple.
On Watch What Happens Live last week, a caller wanted to know the details about a long-rumored rift that apparently happened at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s 2014 wedding. And though they can barely remember what sparked the feud—can they be any more relatable?!—, Chrissy and John do remember that they were miserable.
“We try to think about this all the time,” Teigen quipped. “It was a major blow out to the point were ever time I see them I feel like apologizing for it,” she said of her squabble with Legend.
“I think I was really intimidated and I think I came from a lot of insecurity and I took it out on John. There was a lot of fabulous, amazing people in one room, that’s where it stemmed from,” the mother-of-two admitted. “And also drinking, so that doesn’t help,” she joked.
When asked if the couple thought that the bride and groom were aware that the fight was going on, the 40-year-old musician said: “I don’t think they knew.” However, his 33-year-old wife disagreed: “Oh, everyone knew.”
And if the story of Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s biggest fight ever doesn’t seal their place in the “Most Relatable Celebrities” books, then we may need to toss these books away.
