Selena Gomez is back on Instagram. The (former) Gram Queen broke her silence on social media Monday to give fans an insight into the past few months of her very private life.
“It’s been a while since you have head from be, but I wanted to wish everyone a happy new year and to thank you for your love and support,” the 26-eyar-old singer captioned her post, along with three artsy-looking pictures of herself.
She continued: “Last year was definitely a year of self-reflection, challenges and growth. It’s always those challenges which show you who you are and what you are capable of overcoming. Trust me, it’s not easy, but I am proud of the person I am becoming and look forward to the year ahead. Love you all.”
The post is the first one the Wolves hitmaker has made on the social media platform since September, when she warned about how “negative comments can hurt anybody’s feelings.” The post came just days ahead Selena checked into a rehabilitation facility to deal with mental health issues.
However, with over 5 million likes in less than 24 hours, there’s no doubt Selena Gomez is back on Instagram, and her 144 million followers sure love it like a love song. Hailey Bieber, though—perhaps not so much.
