Zayn Malik’s Twitter rant had his fans worried about the singer. But after calling himself a “[bleep] person” in a now deleted-tweet, the former One Directioner is now reassuring his fan that his is doing okay.
Following his cryptic message over the weekend, Malik took to social media to note that he is “currently happy” but “could be happier” as he thanked his followers for “all the love and thoughts.”
Fans of the From Dusk Til Dawn singer were confused when Malik took to Twitter to sincerely apologize “for basically being a s*** person,”—before quickly deleting the post just minutes later.
Zayn Malik’s Twitter rant comes after his formed One Direction bandmate, Louis Tomlinson, admitted his relationship with Malik has “never really got better,” since he left the band in 2015—and especially after Tomlinson’s mom dead.
“I had a couple of calls with him after I lost my mum and all the boys had agreed to come to that performance and he didn’t show so that really bugged me,” Tomlinson told The Sun. “It was just seeing everyone there—Harry, Niall, and Liam—that was what I needed that night, that support. So on the other end of the spectrum, it kind of really showed.” Louis ended his comment saying, “So, eh, I hope he’s alright, but…”
Our hopes for a One Direction reunion have well and truly been shattered.
