Forbes Declares Kylie Jenner The Youngest Self-Made Billionaire But Twitter Disagrees

In July 2018, Forbes put the youngest Kardashian-Jenner sister on the cover of its

issue and said the lip-lit mogul was on her way to become the youngest-ever to reach a 10-figure fortune. Eight months later, Kylie Jenner is officially the youngest self-made billionaire.

However, just as it happened the fist time around, many were quick to not-so-kindly note that being born into extreme wealth and instant fame isn’t exactly what they would call ‘self-made’—or what it actually means, for that matter.

The 21-year-old’s net worth recently topped $1 billion—a milestone she reached at a younger age than even Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, who hit the same number at 23. But her wealth won’t buy her Twitter’s approval.
