Separate houses, separate social media pages. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have their own Instagram now as the royal couples split up.
The British princes will officially be separating their households. And though the Sussexes have yet to make the physical move out of Kensington Palace and into Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, they have already started the separation with the division of their Instagram accounts—which in 2019, is basically the same thing.
The Kensington Royal account, which was formerly the source for all Cambridge and Sussex news—announced earlier this week that going forward, the account will only post the doings of Prince William and Kate Middleton, as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have their own Instagram now.
“Welcome to our official Instagram,” their first post—a gallery of ten carefully chosen photos of the couple— reads. “We look forward to sharing the work that drives us, the causes we support, important announcements, and the opportunity to shine a light on key issues. We thank you for your support and welcome you to @sussexroyal.”
So now that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have their own Instagram account, does that mean we’ll be soon getting some cute Baby Sussex content? We sure hope so!
