You know the worlds is dying when Justin Bieber defends Chris Brown. Despite being convicted in 2009 for assaulting his then-girlfriends Rhianna, Christ Brown has continuously been protected by a series of high-profile celebrity friends—and Justin Bieber is the latest of them.
The 25-year-old defended both the singer’s character and talent with an Instagram Post comparing Chris Brown with Michael Jackson and Tupac.
“Everyone wants to wait til people die to give them the credit they deserve,” Bieber captioned the post. “I’m calling it now, when CB passes away after a long full life, you will miss what you had in front of you the whole time.”
The Sorry hitmaker continued, referring to Brown’s violent past: “The people who have overlooked this man’s talent because of a mistake he made… you need to reevaluate!”
The 30-year-old disgraced musician, who was obviously impressed by the shout-out, simply replied with a string of heart emojis. But the internet wasn’t to fond with the whole Justin Bieber defends Chris Brown situation.
“Use your platform for better things @justinbieber,” a fan responded condemning his words. “This goes beyond talent and it looks like you’re uneducated on this matter. You’re the one who need to re-evaluate.”
They may be friends—but something tells us that Justin Bieber sticking up for his buddy just days after he was confirmed as a musical guest on Chris Brown’s upcoming Indigo album is no coincidence.
