Lashana Lynch Is The First Black and Female 007

Not Idris Elba, nor Richard Madden. It is Lashana Lynch who now has a license to kill. The British actress is reportedly being cast as the first black and female 007 in the spy movie series.

According to reports, Lynch will play an agent named Nomi who inherits James Bond’s code name. “There is a pivotal scene at the start of the film where M says ‘Come in 007,’ and in walks Lashana who is black, beautiful, and a woman,” an insider claims. “It’s a popcorn-dropping moment. Bond is still Bond but he’s been replaced as 007 by this stunning woman.”

As per reported by The Daily Mail, Daniel Craig’s James Bond in the new Bond movie, known for now as Bond 25, will be brought out of retirement—and makes an unsuccessful attempt to seduce the new female 007.

News that Lashana Lynch will play the iconic spy come after rumors that Idris Elba and Richard Madden were in the run to replace Daniel Craig. But it seems like the Captain Marvel star is the one taking over the spy’s iconic code name!
