Channing Tatum and Jessie J broke up just in time for an unhappy holiday. After over a year of dating, the pair are said to have called it quits—amicably.
“Channing Tatum and Jessie J broke up about a month ago,” a source confirmed to Us Weekly. “They’re still really close and still good friends.”
People magazine added that the decision was a mutual one: “There wasn’t any drama. They just decided to part ways.” They continued: “Channing and Jesse have different priorities and focuses that don’t align. They had a fun relationship, but it just didn’t work out. Channing need to be in LA a lot so he can spend time with Everly. Jessie prefers England.”
Six months after his unexpected split from Jenna Dewan in April 2018, it was rumored that the actor began dating the singer. And though many though their romance was a casual fling, Channing’s Instagram post praising Jessie’s performance in London made it clear that the flame of love was burning hot.
“This woman just poured her heart out on stage at the Royal Albert Hall. Whoever was there got to witness something special. Wow,” he captioned a picture of his then new girlfriend, making their relationship Instagram official.
And though their fans rejoiced on their romance, Jenna Dewan said she wasn’t so thrilled to find out about the not-so-happy news just like everybody else: over the internet.
“Choosing grace as I learned everything about my personal situation along with the rest of the world was really difficult.”
Is it possible that Jenna was once again caught off guard about the news that Channing Tatum and Jessie J broke up, or did he learn his lesson and gave his ex a friendly heads up?
