“The glass-ceiling concept has been an issue for decades, and the drop-off is steepest just
below the C-suite. I launched WeQual to address this drop by championing diversity and
equality at the top,” said Katie Litchfield, founder and CEO of WeQual.
“WeQual recognizes that ending workplace inequality is a must,” said Deirdre Mahlan,
President, Diageo North America. “By recognizing future female leaders they are taking
proactive steps to accelerate the pace of achieving gender parity. I applaud WeQual’s goal:
to effectively showcase female talent across industries, while providing tools and support for their future success”
Zoran Bogdanovic, CEO of Coca Cola HB, commented, “WeQual promotes the equality of
women in the business world by recognizing outstanding professional achievements and
impact. While many consider this should be a normal thing, in reality we need sound
initiatives like WeQual to act like catalysts in creating a more fair and equal society. My
experience of WeQual is of a highly credible initiative and robust evidence-based process
that ensures the highest level of objectivity and fairness.”
The lack of gender diversity in the most senior roles across many industries has become more evident in recent years: it is important that business commits to making a positive change. WeQual recognises the success of women in business and identifying future leaders in some of the world’s largest organizations.”
