We already know that Dua Lipa is a hit when it comes to music, but now it looks like the pop singer is Hollywood’s newest promise. After being confirmed in “Argylle”, a spy thriller that debuts later this year, Dua will be in the live-action of “Barbie”.

“She really impressed in Argylle and word spread around Hollywood about how good she was”, a insider said to The Sun.
“Although Argylle is a big film in its own right, Barbie will be a breakthrough part for Dua because there is so much hype around it. Dua is quickly proving there is far more to her than just being a pop star. She has an exciting future ahead of her in films”, continued.
In the film produced by Warner Bros. Studios, Margot Robbie brings to life the iconic fashionista doll that spans generations. The film is directed by Greta Gerwig from a screenplay co-written with Noah Baumbach. Actors Ryan Gosling, America Ferrera, Simu Liu and Kate McKinnon are also part of the cast.
“Barbie” is being recorded in the UK and the script remains under wraps. The premiere forecast is for 2023, let’s look forward to it.
