Sylvester Stallone, 76, has split from his wife, Jennifer Flavin, 54, according to Page Six. The divorce request came from Jennifer and happened last Thursday (18/8).

According to Page Six, one of the main reasons for the separation would be that the actor allegedly had “engaged in the intentional dissipation, depletion and/or waste of marital assets”. In the petition documents, Jennifer Flavin alleges that the actor intentionally disposed of the couple’s assets and legally prohibited him from selling or transferring any assets during the separation process.

The Hollywood star told TMZ there was no rancor, insisting that they just went in different directions”. “I have the highest respect for Jennifer. I will always love her. She’s an amazing woman. She’s the nicest human being I’ve ever met”, he said.
The couple met at a Beverly Hills restaurant in 1988, when Jennifer Flavin was a 19-year-old aspiring model and the actor was 42. In May of this year the couple celebrated 25 years together.

There are not enough words to describe what this incredibly selfless dedicated , patient, woman has meant to our lives and I only wish they could be another 25! Thank you sweetheart!”, wrote Stallone in an Instagram post to celebrate the date. The star and Jennifer are parents to Sophia, 25, Sistine, 24, and Scarlet, 20.
