In principle, the story took place when the official heir to the throne Rhaenyra Targaryen was a child. Even in the first season, there was a phase change, with a change of actors. The main plot revolves around the civil war of the house of dragons, known as the Dance of Dragons. The last episode of the season hinted that this war is closer. With the death of Jace as the trigger, the war should start at the beginning of the second season.
