The 33rd edition of Wrestlemania came and went on Sunday, and with it a lot of great acrobatics…and bad acting.
Let’s face it, the drama portrayed in TV wrestling skits and interviews is not always well-executed. After all, these performers are athletes – highly skilled at jumping off ladders, collapsing tables and appearing to maim each other – all without hurting a fly. They aren’t necessarily hired for their thespian ability.
However, some grapplers have managed to develop their acting skills to an impressive degree, and many have become full-fledged stars of the silver screen. Here are 33 TV wrestlers who have carved out a role in Hollywood. And that’s the bottom line, because Jetss says so.
