Last year, after Blake Shelton was hailed 2017’s Sexiest Man Alive, joining an elite club that includes George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and David Beckham, and not only that but also beating studs like Idris Elba, Chris Evans and Jason Momoa, the world decided the magazine had lost its damn mind.
But after over six months reflecting on the matter (no, we don’t have better things to do)—that on top of Gwen Stefani’s non-stop gushing over her man—, we’re starting to think maybe People Magazine honoring Blake Shelton with the coveted title wasn’t so unfitting after all.
Is it his ever-present plaid shirts? Perhaps his Sasquatch-like height? Or maybe his bitter personality? None of it makes sense, but there’s something about Blake Shelton that truly makes him, well, sexy. Not the conventional, in-your-face kind of hotness we’re so fond of, but still.
