Not to say she was unknown, specially given that the character was firs introduced over 50 years ago in 1968. But compared to Superman, Batman, and Spiderman, Carol Danvers alter-ego wasn’t exactly a household name.
To commemorate this exciting event, we’ve decided to count down the 10 best female superheroes that Captain Marvel will have to top before being considered the toughest superheroine around. Although, to be honest, Wonder Woman is going to be the top of that list forever, and Captain Marvel should be hoping to get to No. 2.
