Before the duel against Manchester United, this Sunday (26), fans made a point of protesting with shirts, banners and posters, attacking the league, which they accuse of corruption.

As a result, the protests began on the outskirts of Goodison Park, before the ball rolled for the duel against Manchester United.

Posters were distributed simulating a red card with the Premier League logo and the word “Corrupt”. Everton fans also showed their dissatisfaction individually, with shirts and other banners.

Furthermore, on Saturday (25), Everton fans also staged a protest against the league and, indirectly, Manchester City, in the clash between City and Liverpool. Fans of Liverpool’s blue team hired a plane that flew over the Ettihad Stadium with the following banner: “Premier League = corrupt”.

It is worth remembering that the protests occurred after Everton was punished with the loss of ten points in the table for violating financial fair play rules.

The club’s fans complain, for example, that Manchester City had violated several similar laws, but did not receive any sporting punishment like that of the Toffees.
