According to the “Daily Mail”, players have been using official replicas of the shirts they should wear during matches, as they consider the playing equipment to be too tight.
As a result, United’s sports equipment manufacturer manufactures two different categories of uniforms: one with different technology for sports practice, intended for players, and another with a lower value, being a visually identical replica of the one used on the pitch – which is generally aimed at fans.
Athletes would still be complaining about the socks manufactured for the season, which were uncomfortable because they were also tight.
According to the newspaper, the players have not used the equipment since the second game of the season, also resorting to replicas from the same manufacturer.
Therefore, the “Daily Mail” states that United’s material supplier declined to comment on the report, but expects the problems to be resolved within a month, with minor changes.

Manchester United are having a poor start to the current season, after an encouraging performance in Erik Ten Hag’s first year in charge. In 2023/24, the team had only 50% success, with seven wins and seven defeats in 14 matches.
