However, upon learning of the information, Richard Plugge, manager of Jumbo-Visma, stated that speculation about Wout van Aert has no definition and that the team will still hold a meeting to discuss plans and calendars for next year.

“We have not yet reached this stage in the process of developing plans for 2024. These ideas will be discussed individually with pilots in December, during the first training camp. The race programs are only put together then, so it is not yet clear which Grand Tour van Aert will race,” Richard Plugge, manager of Jumbo-Visma, told the WielerFlits website.

Previously, in another interview with the newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport, the cyclist had expressed interest in participating in the Giro d’Italia, as well as being in the Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix, which will be held in March and May. Despite the rumors, Wout van Aert has not yet officially commented on the decision.
