“Bronny James has now been cleared by his doctors for a full return to basketball. Bronny will have a final evaluation with the USC team this week, resume practice next week and return to games shortly thereafter. The James family would like to express their gratitude to the incredible medical team, the entire USC community and especially the countless friends, family and fans for their love and support,” the statement said.

On his social media account, LeBron James expressed gratitude for all the support his family received during his son’s recovery: “Everyone is doing great. We have our family together, safe and healthy, and we feel your love. We’ll have more to say when we’re ready, but I wanted to tell everyone how much your support has meant to all of us.”

Previously, Bronny James was present in a promotional video for the University of Southern California (USC) basketball team in which players answered questions about their favorite stars. The athlete made reference to his father at one point during the recording.

In July of this year, Bronny James began to feel unwell during one of the basketball games. The sports coaches at the University of Southern California (USC) managed to implant the defibrillator and immediately called emergency services requesting help for the athlete. After numerous studies and tests, LeBron James’ son was discharged from the hospital and diagnosed with a congenital heart defect.
