It is worth remembering that at Inter Miami, Suárez will meet Messi, his friend since his time at Barcelona, as well as Busquets and Jordi Alba, also former teammates.

Even before leaving Grêmio, coach Renato Gaúcho had already said that the center forward had advanced negotiations to play in the MLS.

Furthermore, this year’s Copa América will take place in the United States, which also helped with the decision. Suárez intends to be called up by Uruguay. In the last FIFA Data, number 9 was called up again by the Uruguayan national team after almost a year.

Suárez left Grêmio with 29 goals and 17 assists in 54 games, the most for clubs in a career season. Before Tricolor, the Uruguayan played for Nacional, Groningen-HOL, Ajax, Liverpool, Barcelona and Atlético de Madrid.
