Last Wednesday (13), at an annual winter meeting of the National Football League (NFL), the league approved SoFi Stadium as the new venue to host Super Bowl LXI in 2027. The venue is located in Inglewood, Los Angeles, and is known for being the home of the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers teams.

Upon receiving the news, Kevin Demoff, president of the Los Angeles Rams, toyed with the idea of returning to his favorite place: “I’m going to go home and tell Sean McVay and Les Snead that it’s time to start trading picks so we can win another Super Bowl in our building again”.

Next year, the National Football League (NFL) announced that Usher will headline the Super Bowl halftime show, which will be held on February 11 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, ending the 2023/24 NFL season of American football teams.

The release of the performance left the internet abuzz as Usher is considered one of the main names in the R&B genre. It will be the second time that the singer will be present on stage, as the first time he was invited to make a special appearance, as a guest artist, during the Black Eyed Peas show.
