Last Wednesday (04), according to the Associated Press, the trial of Jackson Mahomes, brother of Patrick Mahomes, was held on charges related to sexual assault against an employee of an establishment, Aspen Restaurant and Lounge, located in Overland Park, Kansas.

However, prosecutors evaluated the situation and decided to drop three of the four criminal charges that Jackson Mahomes was involved in. As justification, they claimed that due to the absence of the witness, it was not possible to validate the verification of the case.

Even with the removal of the charges, Patrick Mahomes’ brother will still have to respond to a fourth accusation related to what happened at the establishment. Given the information, Jackson Mahomes allegedly pushed the waiter who tried to stop the attacks that were taking place at the location. The trial will continue on March 25th with the case being evaluated by a public jury.

Previously, in February, according to information released by the newspaper “Kansas City Star”, Jackson Mahomes was investigated by the police for committing two robberies in restaurants, attacking a waiter and a restaurant owner in Overland Park, Kansas, at the end of February.

Given the repercussions at the time, the NFL star’s brother’s defense published: “Our investigation revealed substantial evidence refuting the allegations of Jackson’s accuser, including the statements of several witnesses. We have reached out to law enforcement to provide them with the results of our investigation so they can have a full picture of the matter.”

Authorities and local security say that Jackson Mahomes attacked a 19-year-old waiter who tried to prevent him from forcibly kissing the owner, Aspen Vaughn, of Aspen’s Restaurant and Lounge. The newspaper states that the accused used enough force to leave a bruise on the victim.
