Last Saturday (13), at Arrowhead Stadium, in Missouri – Kansas, according to data released by NBC, the game between Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins broadcast on the Peacock platform was the most watched event of all time, live, from United States.

According to data revealed in a report, the match that marked yet another victory for the Kansas team had, on average, around 23 million viewers on Saturday night. At peak times, it had 27.6 million people watching the game and achieved the milestone in the second half of the show with 24.6 million.

Some studies reveal that the game between the two teams may have obtained these numbers because it was the first Playoff match that was shown exclusively on the Peacock platform. Throughout the season, NBC signed an agreement that allowed the channel to show select games.

In addition to setting a record, the teams’ match was the coldest in the history of the United States with a temperature of -31 degrees. However, even with the lower temperature, the Kansas City Chiefs demonstrated excellent dynamics between the athletes and did not let the cold air affect their performance.
