Last Tuesday (16), in a new episode of his podcast “The Draymond Green Show”, Draymond Green commented for the first time on speculation that his name was among possible negotiations by the National Basketball Association (NBA) enabling a transfer to new team.

“I also know that when it comes to the Dubs, there are a lot of trade rumors. I know my name came up, I know everyone’s name came up except Stephen Curry. My name hasn’t come up in trade rumors very often. I don’t care about that. Rumors are just that: they are rumors. I know we are linked to Pascal Siakam, I hear the same things that you all hear”, said the player.

Speculation states that in addition to Draymond Green, important names such as Chris Paul, Jonathan Kuming, Andrew Wiggins and Klay Thompson are included in the possibility of change. However, there are still no details about the new prospect but it is likely to become real as the Golden State Warriors have a new general manager.

“I don’t know. I really have no idea about that. Would I be shocked if something changed or if some negotiations happened? No. I wouldn’t be shocked. We are 18-22 with the highest payroll in the league. Joe Lacob has a business to run as an owner. Mike has a business to run as general manager. Do I think I will be traded? No, I hope not. But if that happens, it’s part of the business we choose to be part of,” said Draymond Green.

Previously, the athlete was suspended from matches due to numerous aggressive actions, but mainly due to the action taken against Jusuf Nurkic in the match against the Phoenix Suns, in December. However, this is not the first punishment the athlete has received, at the beginning of the season, Draymond Green applied a rear naked choke to Rudy Gobert while playing against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
