The production, which has already received acclaim at festivals, would hit theaters in December this year. The information is from THR.

As a result, the actor who currently appears in the Disney+ series Loki is being accused of assault by an ex-girlfriend, which possibly motivated Disney to postpone the release of the film.

A trial is scheduled to take place on November 29, after three postponements. The result could define the future of the film.

Namely, in the film, Majors plays Killian Maddox, a lonely man who is also an aspiring bodybuilder. His performance has been praised by the international press, with Vanity Fair magazine referring to the actor as “hauntingly wonderful” in the film.

It’s worth remembering that the actor was arrested on March 25, 2023, in Manhattan, on charges of domestic violence after an altercation with a 30-year-old woman, according to TMZ.

The victim told the police that the attack occurred the night before, after an argument. According to sources, she had visible injuries, including marks on her face and lacerations behind her ear, and was therefore taken to the hospital. Majors was arrested at the scene.

A rep for Majors denied the allegations following his release from custody on March 25, and his publicist told Variety, “We look forward to clearing his name and setting the record straight.” The following month, Majors lost his agent and was dropped from starring in two feature films and an advertising campaign.

Furthermore, new allegations of violence were made against the actor. According to a report from Variety, several alleged victims came forward after his arrest in March and are cooperating with the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.
