“We have a great script for another Ocean’s Eleven, so maybe we’ll do another one,” he told the outlet. “It’s a very good text.”

With that, without revealing major details of what the possible plot would be, Clooney confirmed that the story takes place after the events of ‘Ocean’s Thirteen’ (2007), but remained mysterious about the premise.

The actor suggested that the film has a farewell tone, addressing the passage of time and the fact that its protagonists are not exactly in the prime of their youth.

When asked if the possible film could be called ‘Ocean’s 14’, he said it’s more like ‘Going in Style’, referencing Martin Brest’s 1979 film, in which three friends in old age decide to team up to carry out a robbery.

The story received a remake in 2017, with Michael Caine, Alan Arkin and Morgan Freeman.

It’s worth remembering that recently, it was announced that Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie will star in a new title in the franchise.

The derivative will be a prelude to the entire story, being the first since Women’s 8, starring Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett and Rihanna.
