Dakota Johnson called the experience of filming the CGI-filled action scenes in Madame Web “totally psychotic.” In an interview with EW, she even said that she cannot guarantee the final result of the scenes.

“I’ve never done a movie like this before, where you’re in front of a blue screen and you have to react to an explosion that’s not actually happening”.

“Someone on set just shouts ‘explosion!’ and you need to act. That, for me, was totally psychotic. I don’t know if the result was good! I hope I did a good job”, she commented.

Dakota, however, added that she has full confidence in director S.J. Clarkson’s work: “She works very hard, and is very attentive to every aspect of a film. I haven’t seen her falter at anything since we started.”

In addition to Dakota Johnson as Cassandra, Madame Web stars Sydney Sweeney as Julia Carpenter, Isabela Merced as Anya Corazon, Celeste O’Connor as Mattie Franklin and Emma Roberts as Mary Parker, Adam Scott , Mike Epps and Tahar Rahim in the cast.

Madame Teia is scheduled to premiere on February 14th.
