Deadpool’s third adventure got its first trailer tonight (11), during the Super Bowl. The preview reveals that the official title of the film will be “Deadpool & Wolverine”, although the mutant played by Hugh Jackman only appears in a glimpse.

With that, the trailer reveals a lot about the film’s plot, however, showing how the foul-mouthed mercenary (Ryan Reynolds) is recruited by the TVA, the same organization seen in the Loki series, to try to “fix” the Marvel multiverse. Matthew Mcfadyen plays a TVA agent.

The anti-hero’s first film after Disney’s acquisition of Fox — and, therefore, the first to take place in the official MCU chronology —, Deadpool 3 is directed by Shawn Levy (Adam Project).

In addition to the returns of Reynolds and Jackman, the film has already confirmed Morena Baccarin, Jennifer Garner, Rob Delaney and Emma Corrin in the cast. Photos from the set also suggest that actor Tyler Mane is expected to reprise the role of Sabretooth.

The two previous films in the franchise together grossed more than US$1.5 billion at the global box office

“Deadpool and Wolverine” are scheduled to premiere on July 26th.
