Nicola Peltz, 27, has broken her silence over recent rumors of a fight with her mother-in-law, Victoria Beckham, 48. In an interview with Variety, the actress explained what happened and told her about her relationship with her husband’s family, Brooklyn Beckham, 23.

For Nicola, the rumors started after the actress did not wear a wedding dress designed by Victoria Beckham. “I was going to and I really wanted to, and then a few months down the line, she realized that her atelier couldn’t do it, so then I had to pick another dress. She didn’t say you can’t wear it; I didn’t say I didn’t want to wear it. That’s where it started, and then they ran with that”, said Peltz, the wedding took place in April of this year.

Brooklyn also criticized the comments and reinforced the family unity. “I’ve learned they’re always going to try to write stuff like that. They’re always going to try and put people down. But everyone gets along, which is good”, told Variety.
Last week, the tabloids reported that there was some sort of disagreement between the Peltz and Beckham families, and that the couple would be distancing themselves from the Brooklyn family. “[The disagreements between] Victoria and Nicola are just side effects. It’s not just two women – it’s two families coming together,” a source told Page six.
