This Tuesday (2), ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’, won an official trailer. In the preview released during the Good Morning America program, incredible details of the underwater world and new characters can be seen.

Set a decade after the events of the first film, in ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (Zoë Saldana) have formed a family and have children, and are doing everything they can to stay together. However, they must leave their home and explore Pandora’s regions to survive. When an ancient threat resurfaces, Jake resolves to fight an uphill battle to protect the Na’vi people and their family.

Directed by James Cameron, the film stars Zoe Saldana, Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Edie Falco, Jemaine Clement, Giovanni Ribisi and Kate Winslet. ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ is set for release on December 16th.
