In the chat, Shakira said that her son, Milan, encouraged her and suggested that she record the song. “My children today are like my musical consultants. And Milan, who is also a musician and has a very good ear, is a big fan of Bizarrap. And he said to me a few months ago, ‘Mom, you have to collaborate with Bizarrap, you have to create a song with Bizarrap because you’re going to be number 1’. And he even sent an audio message to my agent.”

“I think people connect a lot with something that’s genuine, when it comes from a real place. And the point with that song is that it’s become like an anthem for so many women. I’ve had a really tough year (in 2022) after my breakup. And writing this song was so important to me. It was a very healthy way to channel my emotions”, concluded Shakira.
