With this, the North American Secret Service aims to provide security for the main presidential candidates, both in the general elections and in the primaries.

Therefore, protection must be authorized by the Secretary of Homeland Security, in addition to five members of Congress — including Democrats and Republicans, from both the Senate and the House of Representatives.

In recent days, Americans who support former President Trump have demonstrated near the candidate’s campaign sites.

In the battle to face Democratic President Joe Biden in the November general election, Trump is ahead of Nikki by more than 56 percentage points, according to the American site focused on research analysis FiveThirtyEight.
