Rodgers was present at Monday’s (6) game against the Chargers. He arrived several hours before the game and walked quickly to the locker room, as he used to ride a motorized cart through the bowels of the stadium when he was at games.

The quarterback also threw on the field pregame, as he did in other games, but this time he put weight on his surgically repaired left ankle. Jets’ social media account posted a video of the throwing session and captioned “lettin’ it rip”.

Rodgers suffered the Achilles injury in the season opener against the Bills. This kind of injury usually requires nine to 12 months of rehab, but after the game on Monday, Charges safety Derwin James approached Rodgers asking “When are you coming back, man?”, as he replied “Give me a couple of weeks”.
