On Saturday (20), officers from the New York Police Department arrested an alleged stalker who tried to enter Taylor Swift’s Tribeca apartment. According to an NYPD spokesperson, officers responded to a call about a “disorderly person” on Franklin Street.

Upon arriving at the scene, it was reported that the individual tried to open the door of a building. The suspect was immediately detained due to an active warrant for his arrest. Initial reports indicate that Taylor Swift was likely at her residence at the time, but police did not immediately confirm whether the man was trying to access the singer’s residence. The witness also mentioned seeing the man hanging around the area of ​​Swift’s apartment “for a few weeks” before the incident. The police presence was noticed around 1:45 p.m., and she observed officers talking to the alleged stalker for a few minutes before handcuffing him. The situation occurred peacefully. “Everything was very civilized. He didn’t resist. There were no screams or anything,” said the witness. At the time of his arrest, the man was wearing a beige sweatshirt, khaki pants, a navy blue jacket and beige gloves, with disheveled brown hair.
