The quarterfinals of the NBA Cup are defined and will be played on December 4th, 5th and 6th. The clashes were defined after the last round of the group stage, held on Tuesday.

Eight teams remain alive in the fight for the tournament, one of the new features implemented by the league in the current season.
Therefore, at this stage of the competition, the knockout stage is held in a single game, unlike the seven-game format of the playoffs. The semi-final is scheduled for December 7th, with the big decision scheduled for December 9th.

It’s worth remembering that despite being inspired by European championships, which have separate calendars for cup and league, in the NBA the format is different.
The predetermined games will be valid for both the NBA Cup and the regular season. Only two dates, referring to the decisive phases of the tournament, are open.
